1/2 Marathon Eve
I've missed blogging about my two 8 mile runs and my 11 mile run, but now is not the time to catch up. It's the night before my first 1/2 marathon and I'm feeling excited. I thought I would be more nervous, but I feel mentally and physically prepared.
I've trained, carb loaded, driven the course, picked up my race packet, laid out my clothes, arranged a ride and have the support of many great friends and my family.
I can't wait. I never thought I would be this excited about running, but it's kind of like Christmas Eve.
I sure hope it goes well because I've signed up for the Vegas 2009 and Seattle 2010 Rock n' Roll 1/2 marathons!
